| The MIAT marketing department
constantly monitors the patents' situation, in
order to sustain the commercial activities of
the company and assist its partners. The
MIAT Area Managers therefore dialogue with present
and potential clients, to assess new opportunities
to develop substances with expiring patents.
The MIAT R&D department draws
on its store of experience, information received
from the Marketing department and its continuous
contacts with research structures in Italian
and foreign universities, so as to orient the
company's decisions to finance the R&D and
scale up of active principles. The department
then selects research laboratories with which
to establish partnership agreements with a view
to undertaking projects for the development
of niche products which could be of interest
to present and potential clients. |
